4M Lift Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MatiloLabs LLC ("MatiloLabs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use 4M Lift, including the mobile application, website, account features, subscription features, analytics, sharing features, and related services.

4M Lift is designed to help users plan, track, and organize workouts. A key part of our design is that your workout logs, exercise history, personal workout notes, routines, templates, personal records, and similar fitness data are stored on your device and/or in your personal cloud storage, unless you choose to export, share, publish, or send that information.

By using 4M Lift, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

1. Contact Information

4M Lift is operated by:

MatiloLabs LLC

Missouri, United States

Email: admin@matilolabs.com

Website: https://4mlift.com

For privacy questions, account deletion requests, data requests, or other privacy-related requests, contact us at admin@matilolabs.com.

2. Age Requirement

4M Lift is intended for users who are at least 16 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 16, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal information to 4M Lift, contact us at admin@matilolabs.com.

3. Summary of Our Data Practices

4M Lift is designed around a privacy-conscious model:

  • Workout and fitness data stays on your device or personal cloud by default. This includes workout notes, exercise history, routines, templates, personal records, custom exercises, profile details, and similar fitness data.
  • We collect limited account information. This may include your name, email address, app user ID, Firebase user ID, authentication provider, and account-related identifiers.
  • We use third-party services. These may include Firebase Authentication, Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics or other crash reporting tools, RevenueCat, Meta/Facebook SDK, Apple, Google, Apple iCloud, Google Drive, and email/support tools.
  • Workout data only leaves your device based on user action. This may happen when you export workout history, share workout results, share routines or templates, send information to support, or use a personal cloud or backup feature.
  • We do not sell personal information for money. We may share limited app event and identifier data with analytics, subscription, and marketing attribution providers. Depending on where you live, this may be considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or "cross-context behavioral advertising."
  • We do not use your detailed workout data for advertising. We do not intend to send workout logs, exercises, personal records, weight, body measurements, workout notes, injuries, routines, templates, or similar fitness details to Meta, Google Analytics, or advertising networks.

4. Information You Provide

We may collect information you provide directly, including:

This may include:

  • account creation date;
  • account deletion request information; and
  • support request information.

If you use Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or another third-party sign-in provider, that provider may share certain account information with Firebase Authentication and/or 4M Lift, such as your email address, name, profile identifier, or profile photo, depending on your provider settings.

  • custom exercises;
  • personal records;
  • goals;
  • workout results; and
  • other information you choose to enter.

This information is designed to be stored on your device and/or in your personal cloud storage. We do not store this detailed fitness information on MatiloLabs servers unless a feature clearly requires transmission and you choose to use that feature, such as export, sharing, publishing, or support.

  • your email address;
  • your name, if provided;
  • the content of your message;

Please do not send sensitive health, medical, financial, or personal information unless it is necessary for your support request.

We may use Firebase Crashlytics or similar crash reporting tools to identify and fix bugs.

Crash and diagnostic data may include:

  • crash logs;
  • stack traces;
  • app state at the time of a crash;
  • device metadata;
  • operating system version;
  • app version;
  • crash identifiers; and
  • related technical information.

We do not intentionally include workout content, personal notes, or health details in crash reports. However, if a crash occurs while processing user-entered text or shared content, it is possible that limited related information could appear in diagnostic data. We work to minimize that risk.

Purchase and Subscription Information

We may use RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and related app store services to manage subscriptions, free trials, lifetime purchases, entitlements, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and purchase verification.

Purchase and subscription data may include:

We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.

Marketing Attribution Information

We may use Meta SDK, Facebook SDK, Google Analytics, or similar tools to understand whether marketing campaigns lead to app installs, trials, subscriptions, purchases, or other conversion events.

Marketing attribution data may include:

  • app install event;
  • app open event;
  • trial start event;

  • purchase event;
  • renewal or conversion event;

We do not intend to send detailed workout data, fitness profile data, body measurements, personal records, workout notes, routines, templates, or other sensitive fitness information to Meta or other marketing platforms.

6. Local Storage and Personal Cloud Storage

4M Lift is designed so that your workout and fitness data is stored locally on your device and/or in your personal cloud storage, depending on your device settings and app configuration.

This may include:

  • workout history;
  • workout notes;
  • exercise history;
  • routines;

  • other fitness-related content you create.

Your device or account may back up or sync this data using services such as Apple iCloud, Google Drive, device backup, or other personal cloud storage providers.

MatiloLabs does not control Apple iCloud, Google Drive, your device backups, or your personal cloud account. Your use of those services is governed by the privacy policies and terms of those providers.

Because this data is stored on your device or personal cloud, MatiloLabs may not be able to access, recover, restore, delete, or export it for you.

7. When Workout Data Leaves Your Device

Your workout and fitness data may leave your device when you choose to use certain features.

Exporting Workout History

If you export workout history, the exported file may include workout logs, exercises, sets, reps, weights, dates, notes, personal records, or other data you choose to export.

You control where you send, save, or store exported files. Once exported, the file is your responsibility.

Sharing Workout Results

If you share workout results socially or outside the app, the shared content may include information you choose to display, such as workout name, exercises, results, duration, date, personal records, images, or other summary information.

You are responsible for reviewing shared content before posting or sending it.

Sharing Workout Templates or Routines

If you share a workout routine or template, the shared content may include exercises, structure, sets, reps, rest periods, notes, or similar routine details.

Shared templates are not intended to include your personal workout history, personal results, personal records, body measurements, weight, or other private fitness data unless you choose to include that information.

Shared templates are not tied to the original user by default.

Sending Information to Support

If you send us screenshots, exported files, logs, workout details, or other information for support, we may review that information to respond to your request.

8. How We Use Information

We may use information for the following purposes:

  • to create and manage your account;
  • to authenticate users;
  • to provide 4M Lift features;
  • to manage free and paid features;
  • to manage trials, subscriptions, lifetime purchases, and entitlements;
  • to restore purchases;
  • to provide customer support;
  • to respond to privacy requests;
  • to improve app performance and reliability;
  • to diagnose crashes, bugs, and technical issues;
  • to understand app usage and feature engagement;
  • to measure marketing campaign performance;
  • to prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or security issues;
  • to comply with legal obligations;
  • to enforce our Terms of Service;
  • to protect users, MatiloLabs, and third parties; and
  • for any other purpose disclosed to you with your consent.

9. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following ways.

Service Providers

We may share information with service providers that help us operate 4M Lift, including:

  • Firebase Authentication;
  • Google Analytics;
  • Firebase Crashlytics or other crash reporting services;
  • RevenueCat;
  • Meta/Facebook SDK or Meta Business Tools;
  • Apple;
  • Google;
  • Apple iCloud;
  • Google Drive;
  • app store services;
  • email and customer support tools;
  • hosting, security, and infrastructure providers; and
  • other providers that help us operate, improve, secure, or support 4M Lift.

These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

User-Directed Sharing

We may share information when you choose to:

  • export workout history;
  • share workout results;
  • share routines or templates;
  • post content socially;
  • send information to another app;
  • send information to another person;
  • upload data to your personal cloud; or
  • send data to support.

Advertising and Marketing Attribution

We may share limited app event data, purchase event data, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app user IDs, or pseudonymous identifiers with marketing attribution providers to measure advertising effectiveness.

We do not intend to share detailed workout data or sensitive fitness information with advertising or marketing platforms.

Depending on where you live, this type of sharing may be considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or "cross-context behavioral advertising." You may have the right to opt out of this type of use.

Legal, Safety, and Compliance

We may share information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with law;
  • respond to legal process;
  • enforce our Terms of Service;
  • protect the rights, safety, and security of users;
  • prevent fraud or abuse;
  • protect MatiloLabs;
  • investigate security issues; or
  • respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

Business Transfers

If MatiloLabs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. If this happens, we will take reasonable steps to require that your information remain protected.

10. What We Do Not Share

We do not intend to share the following with advertising or marketing platforms:

  • workout notes;
  • exercise history;
  • detailed workout logs;
  • personal records;
  • weight;
  • height;
  • gender;
  • body measurements;
  • progress photos;
  • injury information;
  • medical information;
  • custom routines;
  • workout templates;
  • workout results; or
  • other sensitive fitness information.

The exception is when you choose to share, export, publish, or send that information yourself.

11. Subscriptions, Purchases, and RevenueCat

4M Lift may offer a free trial, monthly subscription, yearly subscription, lifetime purchase, or other purchase options.

We use RevenueCat and app store providers such as Apple and Google to manage purchases and subscription access.

RevenueCat may process information such as your app user ID, purchase history, entitlement status, product identifiers, transaction metadata, receipt data, and subscription status.

We may use a UUID, Firebase user ID, or similar pseudonymous identifier with RevenueCat so that purchase access can be managed across devices and restored when needed.

Do not assume that deleting the app cancels your subscription. Subscriptions must be canceled through the app store or platform where you purchased them.

12. Analytics, Consent, and Tracking Choices

We may use analytics and attribution tools to understand app usage and marketing performance.

Where required by law or platform policy, we will request consent before using certain analytics, advertising, or tracking features.

On iOS, if we use data for tracking as defined by Apple, we will request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

You may be able to manage analytics, marketing, or tracking preferences in the app settings.

You may also be able to limit tracking through your device settings, such as:

  • iOS privacy and tracking settings;
  • Android advertising ID settings;
  • app permissions;
  • device-level privacy controls; and
  • consent prompts shown inside 4M Lift.

If you opt out of marketing tracking, we may still collect data necessary for app functionality, security, subscription management, fraud prevention, purchase verification, crash diagnostics, or legal compliance.

13. Cookies and Similar Technologies

If we operate a website for 4M Lift or MatiloLabs, we may use cookies, pixels, device identifiers, SDKs, local storage, or similar technologies for:

  • website functionality;
  • analytics;
  • security;
  • support;
  • marketing attribution;
  • campaign measurement; and
  • performance improvement.

You may be able to manage cookies through your browser settings.

14. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Account Information

We retain account information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify account information we control within a reasonable period, unless retention is necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.

Subscription and Purchase Information

We may retain purchase, entitlement, and subscription information as needed to manage purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, comply with accounting requirements, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

Some purchase records may also be retained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other payment-related providers according to their own policies.

Analytics and Diagnostics

Analytics, attribution, crash, and diagnostic information may be retained according to our settings and the retention practices of our analytics, attribution, and crash reporting providers.

Local and Personal Cloud Data

Workout data stored on your device or personal cloud remains under your control. It remains there until you delete it, delete the app, change your backup or sync settings, delete your personal cloud copies, or otherwise remove it.

Deleting your 4M Lift account may not delete workout data stored locally on your device, in device backups, or in personal cloud storage.

Shared Content

Shared templates, routines, or workout results may remain available until deleted, removed, expired, or otherwise restricted, depending on the feature.

If someone else has copied, downloaded, screenshotted, reshared, or exported content you shared, we may not be able to delete copies outside our control.

15. Account Deletion and Data Deletion

You may request account deletion through the app, if available, or by contacting us at admin@matilolabs.com.

Account deletion may delete or de-identify account data we control, such as your account profile, Firebase Authentication account, app user ID association, and related account records.

Account deletion may not delete:

  • data stored locally on your device;
  • data stored in your personal cloud account;
  • device backups;
  • exported files;
  • content you shared with others;
  • content already copied or downloaded by others;
  • subscription records retained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other providers;
  • data we must retain for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or compliance purposes; or
  • anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.

You may also use in-app tools, if available, to delete local workout data, export your data, or reset app data.

16. Data Export

4M Lift may allow you to export workout history or other app data.

Exported data may include sensitive fitness information. You are responsible for storing, protecting, and sharing exported files.

If you send an exported file to another app, person, cloud provider, or social platform, that third party's terms and privacy policy apply.

17. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to:

  • access personal information;
  • request a copy of personal information;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete personal information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent;
  • opt out of certain marketing, tracking, targeted advertising, sale, or sharing;
  • request portability of certain data;
  • appeal certain decisions, where available; and
  • lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To make a request, contact us at admin@matilolabs.com.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Because much of your workout data is stored only on your device or personal cloud, we may not be able to access or provide a copy of that data unless you export it or send it to us.

18. California Privacy Notice

We use these categories for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your country.

However, no method of transmission, storage, device backup, cloud sync, or electronic processing is completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your device, app account, personal cloud account, passwords, exported files, and shared content.

21. Third-Party Services

4M Lift may use or interact with third-party services, including:

  • Firebase Authentication;
  • Google Analytics;

  • Meta/Facebook SDK;
  • Apple;
  • Google;
  • Apple iCloud;
  • Google Drive;
  • app stores;
  • social sharing platforms;
  • email providers; and
  • customer support tools.

These third parties may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that we do not control.

22. Social Sharing and External Platforms

If you share workout results, routines, templates, screenshots, exports, or other content to social media or another external platform, that platform may collect, use, disclose, or retain the information according to its own policies.

Review shared content carefully before posting or sending it.

23. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting the updated policy, notifying you in the app, or sending an email.

The updated Privacy Policy will be effective when posted unless a later date is stated.
